Who We Are
Minerva's Legacy was founded in 2021 by Danielle Veira, a strategic communicator, compelling storyteller, and certified leadership coach. We believe that wisdom is a superpower and that everyone is uniquely equipped to change the world. Our mission is to empower more leaders and organizations with the self-awareness, empathy, and strategy to amplify their impact and reach their goals.
Meet Danielle
Danielle launched Minerva’s Legacy to merge her passions for strategic communications and leadership coaching.Danielle brings nearly 20 years of strategic communications experience to her consulting work. Collaborating with a broad range of clients—including global corporations, start-up ventures, and nonprofit organizations—Danielle develops comprehensive communications plans, engaging events, and impactful outreach campaigns. She also provides change management, and organizational support to consulting clients in varying sectors and sizes, connecting vision with strategy to achieve their impact and growth goals.Danielle’s client work has appeared in a variety of media outlets, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Axios, Bloomberg, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Chicago Sun Times, POLITICO, and network television affiliates across the United States. She has been a national media spokesperson on behalf of health equity, anti-poverty, and DEI campaigns, speaking alongside global leaders and experts across sectors.Through the coaching and facilitation side of Minerva’s Legacy, Danielle hosts workshops and retreats with leaders at every level in their careers—from C-suite to entry-level. As a certified professional coach, Danielle also offers one-on-one coaching engagements where she works with clients to discover their core values, life purpose, talents, and strengths.To feed her commitment to racial equity and female empowerment work, Danielle serves on several volunteer boards and is often invited to speak on panels about strategic communications, leadership development, DEIB, social justice, public policy, as well as health and education disparities. She is currently on the advisory boards for Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) and Ragan Communications/PR Daily. Additionally, Danielle serves on the board of directors for The ZAC Foundation, a national grantmaking foundation with a mission to empower Black and Latinx families to be safe in and around the water. During her years in Chicago, Danielle was the executive director for the Chicago chapter of ColorComm, Inc., and a member of the local advisory board for iHeartMedia Markets Group’s Chicago region.Danielle received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University, where she majored in sociology and minored in political science. She currently resides in Washington, DC.
